In one way or another, everyone has been touched by this debilitating and painful disease. You may be living with one or more of the over 100 different types of Arthritis; you may be the parent of a child who has been diagnosed with juvenile arthritis; or your best friend may struggle with daily restrictions caused by rheumatoid arthritis or osteoarthritis. Whatever your connection, we all want the same thing – a cure.

On Saturday September 08, 2012, motorcycle enthusiasts from London and surrounding communities will come together to raise funds for this very important cause. The London Chapter ( 028 ) of the Canadian Motorcycle Cruisers will be hosting the 1^st annual “Ride For Research” motorcycle Poker Run. This event is your chance to fight back against a disease that affects your life and the lives of millions of Canadians every day.

Some Info we know for sure right now:

	On-Line Registration for the ride will be available soon by clicking on the link on this page and going to the Arthritis website. Registering at the ride will begin at 10:00 am until 11:00 am on September 08, 2012
	Registration will take place at the Canadian Tire Store parking lot located at the corner of Hyde Park Rd N and Fanshawe Park Rd W
	Cost: The cost will be $ 20.00 per motorcycle and $ 5.00 per passenger. You will then be entered into the "Poker Run".
	The ride will be a Poker Ride where you will stop 3 times along the route to pick a card to make up your poker hand. You will receive 1 card at Registration and the last one at our final stop.
	We will also be breaking the ride into two (2) games. The main registrant will be given a White Poker Card to record the cards and the passenger will be given a Yellow Poker Card to record their cards.
	Poker Ride Prizes: For the Main Registrants ( White Sheets ) -- 1st Place - $ 300.00 -- 2nd Place - $ 150.00 -- 3rd Place - $ 50.00 For the Passengers ( Yellow Sheets ) -- 1st Prize - $ 50.00
	BBQ Lunch will be served at the last stop on our Poker Run. We are fortunate to have secured the Plunkett Estate for our final stop and get together. The Estate owner, Mr. Steve Plunkett, has gratiously agreed to open up his Vintage Car Museum for the day for us to enjoy !! 	Lots of door prizes, Share the Wealth, lots of music, an awesome Vintage Car Museum, a great ride through the countryside, can all be yours for a $ 20.00 minimum donation at Registration with all proceeds going toward Arthritis Research to find a cure.
	There will also be a prize for the one registrant who collects the most pledges on-line. The person with the most Pledge money raised will win a "1 Day Harley Davidson Rental" from Rocky's Harley Davidson in London. Click on the Top Bar to access form.
